Rubén Altman

Co-Founder

Rubén has a deep love for nature and its inhabitants, which is why he co-founded antom.

Prior to this, in 2016, he was one of the co-founders of RSK, a blockchain platform advocating for a more just and inclusive financial system, where assets worth over USD 500M are currently managed. Before that, he co-founded Kinetica Solutions, a software factory specializing in software development for companies in the US and Europe.

Rubén enjoys interacting with people who are eager to become entrepreneurs and and learn. He has taught at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Escuela ORT, and collaborates with various projects, including startups and NGOs.

He is happily married to Elvira (pictured next) and they share two wonderful boys. He enjoys good food, traveling, and staying active. In 2022, he fulfilled his dream when Messi lifted the World Cup with the Argentine National Team in Qatar.

Elvira Museri

Elvi is deeply committed to caring for the planet and its people.

She studied International Relations at the Universidad Di Tella and completed a postgraduate degree in NGO management. After a career in the third sector in Argentina and the United Kingdom, she ventured into the entrepreneurial world. In 2008, she founded ANDA Responsible Tourism, a pioneering travel agency in Latin America.

During the pandemic, she decided to renew her entrepreneurial energy and her commitment to a better world. Together with her husband Rubén, they co-founded antom.

Elvi is mother to Andrés and Tomás, two wonderful children. In her constant pursuit of balance, she practices yoga and art—primarily painting, but more recently ceramics and sumi-e.

She loves her family, traveling, and contemplating the beauty our planet has to offer.

Lucas Garibaldi

Lucas is an Agricultural Engineer and PhD in Agricultural Sciences (UBA). He is currently a professor at the National University of Rio Negro, a principal researcher at CONICET, director of IRNAD, and president of the Pollination and Bee Flora Scientific Commission within the International Federation of Beekeepers' Associations (APIMONDIA). He has published over 130 scientific articles in renowned journals such as Science and Nature.

His research focuses on promoting biodiversity, producing healthy food, and enhancing physical, mental, and social well-being. He specializes in agroecology, ecological intensification, pollination, and the contributions of nature to human health. With a strong quantitative approach, his work involves developing mathematical and statistical models that have led to innovative process technologies, such as designing multifunctional rural landscapes and biodiversity-based solutions.

Lucas sees antom as an opportunity to apply his knowledge and help transform our planet—our home—into a healthier place. A place where people can produce, live, and thrive without destroying their environment, while valuing nature's contributions to our well-being.

 
Agostina Martino

Agostina is a designer, entrepreneur, creative, and educator. She has always been involved in impact entrepreneurship, sustainability, social impact, and the circular economy through design. She is a professor at Universidad Siglo 21, a mentor, and a trainer for entrepreneurs. She is also a member of the Global Shapers community, where she volunteers in the area of Climate Action, and an alumni of YLAI 2018, a program for impact entrepreneurs in Latin America.

A nature enthusiast, she admires its forms and processes. She enjoys writing, painting, dancing, and practicing yoga.

At antom, she aims to create transformative change by empowering projects, building networks, and connecting innovation, entrepreneurship, and environmental activism.

 

Paula Alvarado

Paula is a journalist, content creator and editor. Her writing and research focuses on environmental culture, design/production/consumption within planetary boundaries, and the transition to a circular and regenerative economy.

She’s a contributing writer to La Nación newspaper—one of Argentina’s major media conglomerates—, various media outlets and brands. She also founded an editorial label called BAI Cultura Ambiental.

Her career includes serving as a correspondent for TreeHugger.com in Latin America, where she joined an expedition across the South Pacific to observe plastic pollution in the ocean and covered the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20. She was also the editor for the Spanish and Portuguese versions of TreeHugger for Discovery Latin America and co-founded the Green Drinks Buenos Aires meetings for professionals. Additionally, she worked as a trends observer for the U.S.-based company Iconoculture (now Gartner) and the UK-based WGSN.

At antom, Paula saw an opportunity to enhance her expertise in sustainable design and environmental culture by gaining new insights into how science and technology can drive environmental regeneration.
